This antique shoebrush was manufactured about 1890.There is one exactly like it housed in the Tennement Museum in New York City. It's wooden handle shows use and the bristles have the wear and tear of a item over 100 years old. It is not hard to imagine an immigrant family polishing up their shoes to go to work or school or worship. This is a true piece of America's past. |

Beautiful portrait of a sultry young woman with upswept hair. The piece is suitable for framing. We have several framed music sheets in our home and they make wonderful conversation pieces as well as beautiful works of art. This was purchased from the estate of a Scranton, Pa. music teacher who taught music from 1880 through 1920. |

This collection of vintage kitchen utensils features two red handled can openers. The largest of the can openers measures 8 and 1/2 inches long and the shorter one measures 6 inches long. Also included in this group of old utensils is a serrated knife marked stainless steel on the blade and an old metal fork with a metal cross encased in the wood at both the top and bottom. The final piece in this great collection is an old bone handled butter knife. These utensils will make wonderful additions to a collection of vintage kitchenware or they could be the start of a great collection. |
